About this fabric

This colourway is built around a muted parchment ground, flecked with fine beige and ivory threads that create a lightly mottled effect. Its nubby, granular texture gives the surface a tactile, upholstery-weight presence rather than a flat, printed look. In the photograph, the fabric is shown in soft horizontal folds, where the raised texture catches the light and shifts between pale cream and warmer beige.

How to use it

Use Hewn Parchment to upholster a relaxed armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm neutral tone can soften darker timber and sit comfortably alongside linen, boucle and natural stone.

A softly nubby parchment tone with enough visual depth to bring warmth to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
