About this fabric

Burleigh - Olive is a tightly woven textile built from narrow vertical stripes in olive and moss green, warm ochre, cream, brown and muted rust. The colourway has an earthy, grounded depth rather than reading as a single flat green, with lighter bands bringing contrast between the darker olive and brown sections. At close range, the small interlaced weave softens the stripe edges and creates a lightly nubby surface. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification is supplied for this fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use this olive-led stripe on a tailored armchair, ottoman or sofa where its vertical rhythm can remain visible. Balance the warm green, ochre and rust notes with walnut or natural oak, cream upholstery companions and softly textured linen.

Use this earthy olive stripe on an upholstered chair, sofa or ottoman, pairing it with warm wood and natural linens.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
