About this fabric

The design is formed from varied vertical stripes, shifting between cool blue, softened rouge, olive green, pale cream and dark charcoal. Close up, the yarns create a visibly nubby, irregular texture that stops the contrasting colours from feeling stark. The dense-looking weave gives this textile a substantial upholstery presence. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Blue/Rouge on a relaxed armchair, footstool or occasional sofa, then draw out its olive and cream threads with natural wood, aged leather or warm neutral walls. The charcoal stripes can also anchor darker metal or painted furniture.

A characterful textured stripe for upholstery, pairing cool blues with softened rouge, green, cream and charcoal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
