Callanish Plaid Rust

Rosslyn Park Fabric

Callanish Plaid Rust brings together broad checks of burnt rust, burgundy, ochre, charcoal and a muted blue. Its close diagonal weave gives the swatch a softly mottled, tactile surface with plenty of visual depth.

About this fabric

This colourway is catalogued as a fabric, with no performance features, composition, width or rub-test details supplied. The large-scale plaid is built from strongly contrasted blocks, while the diagonal woven texture softens the edges and blends the colours into a weathered, heathered effect. Rust and ochre dominate the warmer sections, balanced by deep burgundy, charcoal and a cool muted blue band.

How to use it

Use the rust and ochre checks to warm a reading chair, bench or sofa, pairing them with charcoal, tobacco leather or understated natural linens. The muted blue accents provide a subtle cooler note for balancing the richer red tones.

Use this warm, richly coloured plaid on a statement armchair, sofa or footstool against quieter neutral furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
