About this fabric

The swatch shows a compact woven texture in which narrow vertical and horizontal yarns form a small, softly checked pattern rather than a flat printed surface. Moss and olive greens dominate the ground, while teal, blue, muted yellow-green and occasional berry threads add a lively but subdued woodland mix. The varied yarn colours catch the light unevenly, giving the surface a mottled, nubby appearance that feels relaxed rather than formal. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a relaxed armchair, footstool or sofa where its moss and teal foundation can sit with warm timber, stone and natural linen. Pick out the quieter berry and yellow-green flecks with small accessories rather than matching them too literally.

The dense, richly flecked weave brings layered moss, teal and berry colour to relaxed upholstery, especially alongside plain natural tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
