Elbury Tamarind

Elbury Fabric

Elbury Tamarind brings a warm, sand-toned taupe ground together with a clearly drawn charcoal plaid. The layered checks have a softly softened edge, giving the colourway depth without losing its tailored character.

About this fabric

The design is built from broad taupe and pale beige checks crossed by narrow charcoal and grey lines, with finer overcheck lines adding definition at each intersection. Its warm tamarind tone reads earthy rather than orange, while the darker lines create a measured graphic contrast. The close view shows a fine, lightly textured surface that gently breaks up the flatness of the checks as the light moves across it. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe plaid on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain, balancing its charcoal grid with chalky cream, oatmeal and dark wood.

Pair the warm taupe ground with cream, natural timber and charcoal accents for a tailored, quietly layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
