Artemis Loam

Cubis Fabric

Artemis Loam presents broad vertical bands in a warm loam taupe, framed by slim cream and charcoal lines. The restrained contrast gives the stripe a quietly tailored character.

About this fabric

The design is built from wide taupe panels with narrow dark charcoal and pale cream stripes running vertically through the cloth. Its fine, closely woven surface shows subtle horizontal variation, adding a gentle textile grain rather than a smooth, flat finish. The warm grey-brown tone feels earthy and muted, while the light stripes keep the overall appearance clean and defined. This mid-weight-looking textile is suited to both upholstery and drapery, particularly where a measured linear pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Pair Artemis Loam with chalky whites, warm ivory and dark timber to draw out its cream pinstripes, or use it on a chair or curtain to introduce soft taupe structure without a strong saturated colour.

Use the warm taupe ground and crisp vertical striping to bring tailored rhythm to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Artemis Loam without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
