Kensey Fabric

Kensey Papaya is a warm, sunlit coral-orange woven fabric with a finely textured surface. Its close-set pattern gives the colour gentle depth, while faint vertical striations add a sense of movement.

About this fabric

The papaya tone sits between orange and coral, reading bright and welcoming without becoming overly vivid. A tiny, even crosshatch weave is visible across the surface, creating a softly granular finish rather than a flat block of colour. Subtle vertical shifts in the weave catch the light and temper the saturation with delicate tonal variation. The balanced texture and apparent mid-weight handle make this colourway suitable for upholstery, curtains and other soft furnishings.

How to use it

Pair Kensey Papaya with warm ivory, sandy beige or natural timber to draw out its sun-warmed character. It also brings lively contrast to deep teal, olive or charcoal accents.

Use this warm papaya coral weave to add colour and fine texture to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
