About this fabric

The swatch is a quiet umber taupe, sitting between warm grey and softened brown rather than reading as a deep chocolate brown. Its surface is visibly plain, with a fine crosshatched weave and subtle tonal variation that gives the otherwise even field a gently mottled finish. In this darker neutral, the closely spaced threads catch the light softly, creating depth without a pattern or sheen.

How to use it

Use Linara Umber to temper pale stone, cream or warm grey schemes, or pair it with darker timber and earthy accents for a grounded room. Its muted brown-grey tone is especially suited to broad upholstered forms and softly coordinated window treatments.

Use the warm umber-taupe neutral to bring soft, earthy depth to upholstery, curtains or tonal layering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
