About this fabric

The colour reads as a balanced blue teal, softened by the mix of threads rather than appearing flat or highly saturated. Its close, even weave has a dry, subtly flecked texture, with fine vertical and horizontal fibres visible across the surface. There is no printed motif; the interest comes from the restrained tonal variation within the weave. The fabric’s visually versatile mid-weight character makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Lamont Lake to bring a cool, grounded note to an otherwise neutral room, pairing its blue-teal depth with pale timber, chalky walls or warm natural textures. Its quiet woven surface is especially effective on relaxed seating, cushions or full-length curtains.

The cool blue-teal tone and lightly flecked weave suit relaxed upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
