Denver Monochrome

Formations Fabric FabricCCF0664-02

Denver Monochrome brings a tightly ordered diamond trellis to the page, balancing chalky cream with charcoal, taupe and grey-brown facets. In the swatch image, the fine woven surface softens the contrast and gives the monochrome palette a quietly weathered character.

About this fabric

Denver Monochrome sets tightly repeated elongated diamonds against a softened cream ground, with charcoal, taupe and smoky grey accents giving the geometry a restrained, tonal depth. The surface shows a fine woven crosshatch, while the alternating light and dark facets keep the pattern crisp without appearing stark. At 224gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to upholstery and drapery. It is supplied at 137cm usable width, with a 16cm vertical and 34cm horizontal repeat, and a 40m standard length.

How to use it

Use the cool charcoal and softened taupe diamonds to bring measured graphic interest to a neutral sitting room, pairing the cream ground with warm ivory, stone or dark wood. The mid-weight cloth can carry the pattern across an occasional chair, Roman blind or coordinating cushions without overwhelming the room.

A tonal diamond weave that brings graphic structure to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
