About this fabric
This 306gsm fabric has a substantial woven appearance, making it well suited to upholstery where its dark tone can give furniture a grounded, tailored presence. Small irregular marks travel across the espresso surface in a 31cm vertical and 35.5cm horizontal repeat, creating a softly mottled effect rather than a formal geometric motif. The usable width is 142cm, with a standard length of 30m. Charcoal flecks and low-contrast tonal variation keep the shade from appearing flat while preserving its moody depth.
How to use it
Use Astral Espresso on a statement armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where the warm dark brown tone can anchor a room. Pair it with aged timber, smoked metal and lighter stone or oatmeal textiles to bring out the contrast in the charcoal pattern.
