About this fabric
The small brown and mushroom-toned flecks sit across the light taupe ground in an organic, stippled arrangement rather than a sharp geometric pattern. A 306 gsm weight gives this textile useful substance for both upholstery and drapery applications. The design has a 31 cm vertical repeat and 35.5 cm horizontal repeat, with a 142 cm usable width. Its muted taupe colouring reads softly in the image, allowing the darker marks to add definition without becoming dominant.
How to use it
Use Astral Taupe on a reading chair, compact sofa or full-length curtains where its warm-grey taupe base can soften stronger timber and stone finishes. Pair it with oatmeal, mushroom, walnut or muted brown accents to echo the flecked surface.
Use the softly flecked taupe ground to bring quiet pattern and gentle contrast to upholstery or curtains.
