Astral Stone brings a warm stone-beige ground to Studio G’s Illusion collection, scattered with dense, tiny taupe flecks. The close-set marks give the surface a softly textured, gently varied appearance rather than a flat solid colour.

About this fabric

In this colourway, the pale beige base is interrupted by muted taupe and soft brown-grey flecks, creating a calm, lightly mottled effect across the cloth. The small-scale pattern has a 31 cm vertical repeat and a 35.5 cm horizontal repeat, so its fine irregular rhythm remains visible without becoming dominant. At 306 gsm, Astral Stone has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile for both upholstery and drapery. It is supplied at a 142 cm usable width, with a standard length of 30 m.

How to use it

Use Astral Stone to bring gentle warmth to a neutral sitting room, where its stone-beige base can sit alongside chalk, mushroom and pale timber tones. Its restrained taupe fleck works particularly well on occasional chairs, cushions or relaxed full-length curtains when a plain fabric feels too stark.
