About this fabric
The cool linen-beige background gives this colourway a quiet, weathered quality, while the contrasting botanical silhouettes add depth without becoming brightly coloured. Fine stems and clustered flower heads overlap across the cloth, with the charcoal motifs creating the strongest definition and the white motifs lifting the surface. Weighing 224gsm and measuring 137cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to upholstery and drapery. The design has a 40.5cm vertical repeat and 45.7cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 40m.
How to use it
Use the muted greige ground to soften a reading chair, bench or relaxed curtain scheme, then echo the charcoal stems with dark timber or aged metal. Chalk-white accents will pick up the lighter botanical silhouettes without losing the colourway’s subdued, natural mood.
A softly textured greige ground with chalk, taupe and charcoal botanical silhouettes for calm, natural interiors.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dunwich Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
