Marina Fabric FabricCCF0757-02

Aquarium Natural has a pale greige ground that gives its ivory damask pattern a softly atmospheric quality. The woven surface catches the light gently, revealing symmetrical botanical sprays, shell-like forms and fine floral detail.

About this fabric

The design combines ivory botanical and shell-like motifs with a muted greige background, creating a low-contrast pattern that feels calm rather than stark. Its 32cm vertical repeat and 47.5cm horizontal repeat give the ornate pattern a considered medium scale across the cloth. At 224gsm and 137cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The natural-toned ground keeps the intricate design light, while the woven texture adds quiet depth when viewed up close.

How to use it

Pair Aquarium Natural with warm whites, limestone, pale oak and soft taupe for a gently layered room. Its restrained greige-and-ivory contrast works particularly well on relaxed curtains, occasional upholstery or patterned cushions where the detailed repeat can be appreciated.

Use this softly contrasting greige and ivory damask to bring quiet pattern to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aquarium Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
