Langei Sand

Metropolitan Fabrics FabricCCF0496-04

Langei Sand combines a pale sandy ground with delicate greige and muted sage lines that form broad, cloud-like arches across the surface. Its low-contrast colouring gives the design a calm, softly weathered presence.

About this fabric

This 358gsm fabric is shown in a light sand colourway, layered with irregular taupe-grey and subdued sage bands that create a marbled, architectural pattern. Fine tonal changes within the lines give the surface gentle depth without making the motif feel sharply outlined. The fabric has a 137cm usable width, with a vertical pattern repeat of 29cm and a horizontal repeat of 34.2cm. Its standard length is 40m, making the repeat practical to plan across upholstered panels and seating sections.

How to use it

Pair Langei Sand with warm ivory, limestone and pale oak for a quiet, textural room, or draw out the muted sage lines with soft olive accessories. The light ground is especially effective on a statement chair, headboard or structured sofa where the sweeping motif can be appreciated.

Use this softly tonal sand colourway to bring layered movement to upholstered seating while keeping the overall scheme light and restrained.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Langei Sand without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
