Belle Chambray

Marina Fabric FabricCCF0035-01

Belle Chambray pairs cool, muted blue stripes with ivory and pale beige vertical bands. The close-up shows a fine, lightly textured ground that gives the alternating lines a soft rather than high-gloss finish.

About this fabric

Several narrow dark-blue lines are grouped between broader washed-blue, ivory and beige bands, creating a measured vertical rhythm. At 219 gsm with a 140 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery or drapery. The design repeats every 32 cm vertically and 17.2 cm horizontally, while the standard length is 40 m. Its restrained contrast keeps the blue cool and powdery against the warmer neutral stripes, giving this colourway a calm, tailored character.

How to use it

Use Belle Chambray for a relaxed upholstered chair, headboard or full-length curtain where its cool dusty blue can sit against ivory, pale stone and warm timber. The varied stripe widths add definition without overpowering a softly neutral room.

Use the cool blue stripes to bring calm definition to upholstered seating, curtains or Roman blinds alongside ivory, stone and natural wood.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
