About this fabric

The fine woven texture is clearly visible beneath the blue-grey chambray tone, while ivory stems and feathery leaves form repeating botanical fans. Its cool, lightly muted colour keeps the pattern airy rather than saturated, with the pale threads catching the light against the darker ground. The fabric weighs 243 gsm and has a usable width of 138 cm. Both pattern repeats measure 23 cm vertically and horizontally, making the balanced motif easy to position across upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use Freja Chambray to bring a cool blue-grey note to a bench, occasional chair or relaxed curtain, pairing it with ivory, chalk and pale timber to echo the light botanical tracery.

Use this cool blue-grey ground with ivory upholstery or curtains for a refined, light-catching scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
