Waterside Duckegg

Land & Sea FabricCCF0323-01

Waterside Duckegg presents a compact seaside town in soft duck-egg aqua and white, with buildings, boats, trees and birds arranged across the surface. The cool, lightly faded colour gives the illustrated scene an airy coastal character.

About this fabric

The design combines simplified waterfront buildings, arched doors, window grids, sailing boats and small birds in pale white against a muted aqua ground. Its 31.5 cm vertical repeat and 68.5 cm horizontal repeat give the townscape a clearly readable but manageable scale. At 224 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery, with a 137 cm usable width. The standard length is 40 m, making it practical for coordinating runs of the same cool, graphic colourway.

How to use it

Use Waterside Duckegg on occasional chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains where its cool aqua tone can sit alongside white-painted furniture, sandy neutrals and pale natural wood. The illustrated harbour motif brings gentle movement without the stronger contrast of a darker colourway.

Pair the cool duck-egg cityscape with crisp whites, pale timber and relaxed coastal furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
