Nexus Peacock

Illusion FabricCCF0605-05

Nexus Peacock is a deep, cool teal woven with closely spaced zigzag lines that create a subtle chevron surface. The dark peacock tone shifts gently across the weave, giving the swatch more depth than a flat blue-green plain.

About this fabric

From Studio G’s Illusion collection, this 306gsm fabric has a useable width of 142cm and a compact pattern repeat measuring 1.5cm vertically by 4.3cm horizontally. Fine dark chevrons run across the peacock-teal ground, forming a small, regular geometric motif visible throughout the swatch. The woven surface has a softly tactile, slightly mottled appearance as the light catches the teal threads at different angles. Its standard length is 30 metres, making it practical to specify across coordinated upholstery or drapery projects.

How to use it

Use Nexus Peacock to add cool, saturated colour to an otherwise restrained room, particularly on a compact sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtains. Pair the deep teal with charcoal, warm timber and muted brass so the fine zigzag texture remains the detail that draws the eye.

The deep peacock teal and closely spaced zigzag weave bring graphic texture to upholstery, curtains and coordinating cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Nexus Peacock without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
