About this fabric

This 279gsm fabric has a versatile mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design is formed from irregular vertical and sweeping marks in saturated teal and navy, softened by scattered grey-beige highlights. Its 53.3cm vertical repeat and 68.5cm horizontal repeat give the painterly motif a clear, considered rhythm across the 137cm usable width. The dark blue-green ground reads cool and atmospheric, while the broken woven texture prevents the colour from appearing flat.

How to use it

Pair Hillcrest Midnight with warm timber, brushed metal and quiet neutral upholstery to balance its cool teal depth. On curtains or a statement chair, the mineral highlights can pick up softly against stone, grey or charcoal surroundings.

Use this richly textured blue-teal colourway to add depth to seating, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
