Hazelbury Midnight/Spice

Ferndene Fabric FabricCCF0704-03

Hazelbury Midnight/Spice combines a deep midnight-teal ground with an abundant botanical pattern of pale flowers, fern-like fronds and warm spice foliage. The dark background gives the colourway a noticeably rich, collected feel.

About this fabric

The design is densely arranged with cream and soft blue flowers, sage leaves, terracotta-red sprigs and ochre fern forms, creating a lively medium-scale repeat rather than an open scatter. Against the midnight ground, the warmer rust and spice accents appear especially vivid, while the pale blooms provide clear contrast. This 220gsm fabric has a 138cm usable width, making the design practical for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 69cm vertical and 69cm horizontal pattern repeats allow the botanical layout to remain clearly visible across a wider furnishing or curtain panel.

How to use it

Use Midnight/Spice on an occasional chair, bench or relaxed curtain scheme where its deep blue-green ground can balance warm timber, aged brass and rust-toned cushions. Cream upholstery accents will pick up the small pale flowers without competing with the dense botanical arrangement.

Use this deep midnight ground to anchor warm rust, spice and cream accents in a richly layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
