About this fabric

The pattern combines upright olive-ochre stems with small blue-grey flowers and clusters of saturated crimson and berry-red blooms, all picked out against charcoal-black. Subtle tonal variation in the dark ground allows the floral detail to emerge without losing the dramatic depth of the Noir colourway. At 185gsm and 137cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric for both upholstery and drapery. Its 35cm vertical repeat and 34.5cm horizontal repeat give the compact botanical design a clear, regular rhythm when planned across a larger surface.

How to use it

Use Elmsdale Noir on a reading chair, bench or full-length curtain where its near-black ground can anchor a room; echo the crimson flowers with berry accents and balance the ochre stems with aged brass or warm wood.

A near-black botanical ground brings depth, while crimson blooms and ochre stems add richly coloured detail to upholstery or curtains.
