About this fabric

The Licorice colourway reads as a soft, light-absorbing black, with fine tonal variation visible across the woven surface. There is no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, making the cloth appear clean and continuous when used across larger areas. At 280 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 137 cm usable width and 40 m standard length provide practical coverage for coordinated interior projects.

How to use it

Use Licorice on a tailored armchair, bench or full-height curtain when a room needs a grounded near-black accent. Pair its quietly textured surface with warm timber, pale stone or brushed metal to keep the dark tone considered rather than stark.

A deep, near-black mid-weight textile that brings quiet definition to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
