Alora FabricCCF0236-35

Alora Malt is a softly textured plain weave in a warm malt beige, with a gentle golden cast visible across the even surface. Its quiet colour and lack of pattern give the cloth a calm, understated presence.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a finely woven, non-directional surface with delicate linear texture rather than a printed motif or visible repeat. Warm beige and muted ochre notes combine to create the mellow malt tone, while the subtle weave keeps the colour from appearing flat. At 280 gsm and 137 cm wide, Alora Malt is a versatile mid-weight fabric for both upholstery and drapery. It is supplied in a standard 40 m length and has zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, making cutting and placement straightforward.

How to use it

Use Alora Malt to bring a softly golden neutral to an armchair, headboard or full-height curtain, pairing it with chalky whites, natural timber and deeper tobacco accents. Its low-contrast surface works particularly well where a room needs warmth without a strong pattern.

The warm malt tone and fine woven texture suit relaxed upholstery, cushions and softly tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
