Trawler Navy

Land & Sea FabricCCF0315-03

Trawler Navy brings a cool, ink-blue character to the Land & Sea collection, with a lively shoal of individually drawn fish set against an ivory ground. The varied stripes, scales, spots and wave-like markings give the surface an illustrated, hand-rendered feel.

About this fabric

The navy is deep and slightly softened rather than bright, creating clear contrast with the warm ivory background while retaining an easy, coastal mood. Fish of different sizes fill the view, with elongated bodies, rounded forms and small directional motifs arranged into a busy but balanced repeat. At 224 gsm and 137 cm wide, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The vertical repeat is 31.5 cm and the horizontal repeat is 34.3 cm, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Use Trawler Navy for relaxed Roman blinds, curtains or scatter cushions where its cool navy markings can sharpen a room of chalky ivory, pale timber and natural woven textures. Its compact, medium-scale repeat also works well on occasional chairs or a small upholstered footstool.

Use this cool navy-and-ivory fish design for relaxed curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery against warm neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
