About this fabric

Surf Navy is a cool, deep navy ground crossed by layered ivory and pale blue strokes that curl into crest-like wave shapes. The contrasting lines create a fluid, energetic rhythm, while the darker blue areas give the design depth rather than reading as a flat block of colour. At 224 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery, with a 137 cm usable width. The pattern repeats every 31.5 cm vertically and 34.3 cm horizontally, so the wave alignment should be considered when cutting.

How to use it

Use Surf Navy where a room needs a cool, graphic focal point: it would bring definition to a chair, bench or full-length curtain in a scheme of chalky white, pale timber and soft blue. Its deep navy ground also works well as a darker counterpoint to lighter upholstery and coastal-inspired accessories.

A cool navy-and-ivory wave pattern with enough weight for upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
