Kelso Fabrics FabricCCF0440-30

Kelso Powder Blue is a pale, cool-toned textile with a softly weathered surface. Fine irregular threads create a restrained crosshatched texture, while lighter flecks keep the blue looking airy rather than flat.

About this fabric

The swatch reads as a muted powder blue, with subtle white-blue highlights moving across its closely woven surface. Its plain construction has no visible motif, and the irregular horizontal and vertical threads give the cloth a softly tactile, linen-like character without a directional pattern. At 310 gsm, it has enough substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery, making this a versatile mid-weight option. The 137 cm usable width and 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats also allow efficient cutting without pattern matching; the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Kelso Powder Blue on a relaxed armchair, dining seat or cushion where its cool, pale tone can lighten deeper timber and warm neutral surroundings. It can also make understated curtains or blinds, with the crosshatched surface adding interest without introducing a strong motif.

Use its cool, pale blue tone to bring a light, quietly textured finish to upholstered seating, cushions or softly filtered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
