About this fabric
The cool grey colourway has a light, airy appearance, with the tonal contrast between ground and motif keeping the design soft rather than stark. Fish appear in varied shapes and markings, including bold stripes, scalloped scales, crosshatching and small outlined forms. At 224 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 31.5 cm vertically and 34.3 cm horizontally, giving the assortment of aquatic motifs a steady rhythm across the cloth.
How to use it
Use Trawler Grey to soften a window seat, occasional chair or relaxed curtain scheme with its pale coastal tone. Its cool grey-and-light-ground palette works especially well alongside chalky whites, weathered woods and deeper blue-grey accents.
