Sylvana Smoke

Lustro FabricCCF0167-09

Sylvana Smoke has a cool, smoky-grey ground marked by irregular charcoal lines and softly blurred, leaf-like forms. The close-up reveals a tactile woven surface with gentle tonal variation rather than a flat single colour.

About this fabric

At 310 gsm, Sylvana Smoke has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery or drapery. Its 140 cm usable width and zero-centimetre vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make the abstract design straightforward to position across a project. In the swatch, pale graphite and silver-grey threads create a misted ground, while darker broken lines give the large-scale, crumpled motif its definition. The restrained contrast keeps the colourway cool and atmospheric, with the texture becoming more apparent where the light catches the weave.

How to use it

Use Sylvana Smoke to bring a cool, mineral tone to a reading chair, sofa or generous pair of curtains, then warm it with timber, aged brass or muted taupe. Its low-contrast charcoal markings work especially well against pale stone and soft white walls.

A cool smoky grey woven textile with expressive dark linework, equally suited to tailored upholstery and full-length drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
