About this fabric
The visible weave combines fine horizontal and vertical threads, creating a restrained crosshatch texture across the slate-grey surface. Subtle shifts between charcoal, silver and softer grey threads give the colour depth while keeping its overall impression cool and muted. With a 310 gsm weight and 137 cm usable width, Kelso Slate is suited to upholstery applications. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, so the plain woven texture requires no pattern matching; the standard length is 40 m.
How to use it
Use Kelso Slate on a sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its cool grey tone can balance pale timber, blackened metal and blue-grey accents. The lightly varied weave also works well against smoother textiles, adding texture without introducing a visible motif.
