Weave Fabric

Duo 180 has a close, even weave in a muted taupe-brown shade, with fine darker and lighter threads creating gentle tonal variation across the surface. The compact texture gives this colourway a quietly tactile, grounded appearance.

About this fabric

Viewed closely, the surface is formed from tightly interlaced threads rather than a printed motif, producing a subtle all-over grain with no directional pattern. Its taupe-brown colouring sits between warm brown and muted olive-beige, while the mixed threads keep the shade from looking flat. The dense-looking construction makes it particularly convincing for upholstery, although no composition, width or rub-test information has been supplied for this fabric. Light catches the raised weave in tiny points, adding depth without making the colourway appear glossy.

How to use it

Use this muted taupe-brown on a relaxed armchair, ottoman or compact sofa, pairing it with chalky neutrals, aged timber and soft olive accents. Its low-contrast texture also works well where a plain upholstery fabric needs more visual depth without introducing a pattern.

Its earthy taupe-brown tone and close, tactile weave suit relaxed upholstery on chairs, sofas and footstools.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
