Casual Fabric

Casual Pillarbox is a deep, saturated red woven fabric with a tactile surface that shifts subtly between brighter and darker red across the folds. Its dense, understated texture gives the colour depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven in a rich pillarbox red, with fine intersecting threads creating a softly irregular, linen-like texture across the surface. Folded areas appear darker and more wine-toned, while raised sections catch the light in brighter scarlet-red highlights. The plain construction keeps the design visually quiet, allowing the colour and weave to provide the character. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm, saturated red on a statement armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where its textured surface can add depth without a pattern. Pair it with dark wood, aged brass or softened neutrals to temper the intensity of the pillarbox tone.

A deep, textured red weave that brings warmth and visual depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
