Flanders Fabric

Flanders Petal is a muted blush-pink textile with a softly fluid fall, shown here gathered into gentle, shadowed folds. Its delicate surface reads as calm and lightly tactile rather than glossy.

About this fabric

The close-up reveals a fine, even plain weave beneath the folds, with the dusty pink tone shifting subtly between warm highlights and mauve-tinged shadows. The lightweight-looking cloth falls easily into narrow ripples, making it especially suited to drapery applications such as curtains or blinds. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its appeal is the quiet colour and fluid texture visible in the image.

How to use it

Pair Flanders Petal with warm whites, pale taupes and washed timber for a softened scheme, or use it against deeper plum and brown accents to draw out its mauve depth. Its fluid handle is well suited to relaxed full-length curtains.

Use this soft dusty pink at windows to bring a muted, airy warmth to the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
