About this fabric

The woven check is built from broad blush and muted olive-grey areas, crossed by burgundy, blue-grey and fine warm lines. Rather than reading as a clean, high-contrast tartan, the colours merge slightly through the textured weave, giving the pattern a softened, lived-in character. The fabric has visible body and folds with substance, while still draping naturally across the swatch. Eltham Blush is catalogued as a fabric and suits both upholstery and drapery applications where a relaxed, tactile plaid is wanted.

How to use it

Use Eltham Blush on a window seat, occasional chair or relaxed curtain, balancing its dusty pink and wine tones with oatmeal, olive, weathered oak and soft blue-grey.

Pair the muted blush and burgundy ground with warm neutrals, sage accents and aged timber for a relaxed country feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
