About this fabric
The colour is muted and warm rather than bright white, giving the cloth a gently softened presence. A delicate, even crossweave is visible across the surface, adding restrained texture without a printed motif. Where the fabric gathers, highlights move across the raised folds while the recesses deepen into light taupe shadows. Its fluid drape and fine construction make this colourway particularly suited to understated curtains and relaxed window dressings.
How to use it
Use Flanders Papyrus for full-length curtains in rooms that need a light, warm neutral rather than stark white. Pair its soft cream tone with pale timber, chalky walls and natural woven accents for a calm, airy scheme.
A fine, fluid papyrus cream weave suited to softly gathered curtains and light-filtering window dressings.

Pairs well with
Flanders Papyrus is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
