Flanders Ivory

Flanders Fabric

Flanders Ivory is a very pale, softly luminous cloth with a gentle warmth that stops it feeling stark. Draped into loose folds, its fine surface catches subtle shifts of light and shade.

About this fabric

The image shows an ivory tone close to off-white, with a warmer, softer character than a brilliant white. A fine, even plain weave is visible across the flatter areas of the swatch, while the gathered folds create delicate grey-beige shadowing. Its fluid fall and fine surface read especially naturally as curtain fabric. The restrained texture keeps the colourway quiet, allowing the changing depth in the folds to provide its visual interest.

How to use it

Use Flanders Ivory for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its warm off-white tone can soften strong daylight without adding a noticeable pattern.

Use this soft ivory drapery to bring a light, calm finish to relaxed interiors.

Pairs well with

Flanders Ivory is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
