About this fabric

The visible weave combines fine horizontal and vertical variation, creating a restrained crosshatched effect rather than a defined printed motif. Tobacco brown forms the dominant tone, while lighter threads catch across the raised folds and deeper umber shading settles into the creases. The cloth falls into fluid, layered folds, giving the surface a supple and quietly tactile appearance. This colourway has a grounded, relaxed character that comes from its muted warmth and softly changing texture.

How to use it

Use Kobe Tobacco to add earthy depth to a relaxed room, particularly on softly tailored seating, cushions or full-length curtains. Its warm brown tone pairs naturally with natural timber, aged leather and muted olive accents.

The warm tobacco brown and softly irregular weave bring depth to relaxed upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
