About this fabric

The close-up shows a non-patterned woven texture formed by fine intersecting threads, giving the surface a lightly striated, tactile character. Its amethyst colour is cool and subdued rather than bright, with deeper plum tones settling into the folds. Gentle highlights appear along the raised creases, while the flatter areas read as richly saturated and softly matte. The cloth’s visible drape makes this fabric suitable for upholstery or curtains where texture and depth are wanted without a bold motif.

How to use it

Pair Kobe Amethyst with warm neutrals, smoked timber and aged brass for a cocooning scheme, or use it on curtains to bring a deep plum-violet note to a softly lit room.

Use this deep amethyst textile to add moody colour and tactile depth to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
