About this fabric

This colourway has a rich amethyst tone that shifts from dusky purple in the folds to subtly lighter plum on raised areas. Its fine, even weave is clearly visible in the close-up, giving the surface a smooth, restrained texture rather than a patterned finish. The fabric falls readily into soft folds, suggesting a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub test or performance features were supplied for this specific fabric.

How to use it

Pair the cool depth of Amethyst with warm ivory, aged timber or brushed brass for balance. Used on a statement chair, cushion or generous curtains, it brings controlled plum colour without a bright, saturated effect.

Use this deep amethyst plain weave to add cool, quietly dramatic colour to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
