Kobe Burgundy
Kobe Fabric
Kobe Burgundy is a deep wine-red textile with a softly irregular crosshatched surface. Across the draped swatch, darker folds sit beside warmer red highlights, giving the colour noticeable depth.

About this fabric
The surface has a fine, closely grained weave that catches the light unevenly rather than appearing flat, with subtle brown-red shadowing through the folds. Its soft handling and fluid drape make this a versatile fabric for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub test or performance feature is supplied for this colourway, so suitability should be confirmed against the intended application.
How to use it
Use Kobe Burgundy to bring a rich, warm wine tone to a room, particularly on an occasional chair, relaxed curtains or cushions layered against muted neutrals and dark timber.
Use the deep burgundy tone to add warmth and depth to upholstered seating, curtains or layered soft furnishings.

Pairs well with
Kobe Burgundy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
