Lazio Natural

Lazio Fabric

Lazio Natural shows a small-scale houndstooth with a soft, tailored look in warm beige and ivory. The weave reads textural and grounded, with the lighter motif lifting clearly against the sandier ground.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% polyester and 5% cotton, Lazio Natural is specified for upholstery and carries a 60,000+ Martindale rub test, making it well suited to everyday seating. The cloth has a compact 2.8 cm horizontal and vertical repeat, which keeps the houndstooth rhythm tight and orderly across the surface. In this colourway, the palette is gentle and natural rather than stark: a beige ground with chalky ivory highlights and a slightly heathered weave that softens the contrast. The overall effect is smart but calm, with enough pattern to add interest without overwhelming a room.

How to use it

Use Lazio Natural on an armchair, banquette or ottoman where you want a neutral with a little structure. Its warm beige tone pairs neatly with oak, travertine and soft white paint, and sits especially well with linen and brushed metal accents.

A quietly tailored neutral that works well on statement seating and keeps a room feeling light.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lazio Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
