About this fabric

The fabric appears as a muted grey-brown taupe, with cooler graphite notes in the folds and warmer taupe highlights where the light reaches the surface. A small, even weave gives the cloth a gently grainy texture rather than a smooth or glossy finish. The draped swatch shows a supple fall, with broad folds creating natural tonal variation across the plain ground. No performance features are noted for this listing.

How to use it

Use this flint taupe on a relaxed armchair, sofa or full-length curtain where its cool neutral tone can soften darker timber, stone and charcoal accents. Pair it with warm ivory or dusty brown to bring out the subtle warmth in the weave.

A softly textured flint taupe that brings quiet depth to upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
