Marlborough Fabric

Marlborough Marble is a softly luminous ivory fabric with a subtle pebbled surface visible across the entire swatch. Its near-white tone reads clean and gently warm rather than stark.

About this fabric

The close, irregular grain gives this otherwise plain colourway a tactile, lightly mottled finish. Its pale ivory cream tone reflects light softly, creating quiet depth without a visible motif or contrasting pattern. The substantial-looking, opaque face makes it best suited to upholstery rather than fluid window treatments. No composition, width or rub-test figures have been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Marlborough Marble on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its soft ivory tone can brighten the room without the hardness of pure white. Pair it with warm timber, chalky walls and natural woven accents to bring out the restrained surface texture.

A quiet ivory neutral with a fine pebbled texture, suited to tailored upholstery and light, understated schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
