Marvellous Fabric

Marvellous Vine is shown here in a deep olive green, with a softly fluid surface that gathers into naturally shaded folds. Its quiet colour shifts from earthy khaki to near-charcoal where the fabric overlaps.

About this fabric

The close, fine weave is visible across the flatter areas of the cloth, giving this colourway a gently textured appearance rather than a completely smooth finish. Deep olive-green tones dominate the surface, while the folds introduce darker green-grey shadows and subtle tonal depth. The fabric falls fluidly in the photograph, with a restrained sheen that catches lightly along the raised ridges. Its plain construction keeps the emphasis on the rich, mossy colour and the movement created by drape.

How to use it

Use this deep olive shade to add an earthy, sophisticated note to a neutral room, particularly on relaxed upholstery, cushions or generous curtains. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and soft stone tones to bring out its khaki depth.

The deep olive tone and softly fluid woven surface bring understated depth to upholstery, cushions or full-length drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
