Marni Aloe

Marni Fabric

Marni Aloe has a quiet, earthy presence, combining muted aloe-olive colour with a visibly dense, tactile weave. Across the draped swatch, the surface shifts between softly lit olive taupe and deeper shadowed folds.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven in a close, irregular texture that gives the plain surface a softly nubby, almost pebbled character. Its aloe colouring reads as a restrained olive-taupe rather than a bright green, with warm brown-grey depth visible where the folds turn away from the light. The substantial-looking weave makes it well suited to upholstery, particularly where a tactile, understated finish is wanted. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair Marni Aloe with warm timber, aged leather and stone-coloured textiles to reinforce its muted, earthy tone. On a sofa, headboard or occasional chair, its coarse weave can add depth without introducing a separate pattern.

Use this softly nubby olive-taupe weave to bring earthy texture and understated depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
