About this fabric

The surface has a close, small-scale woven texture, with fine raised points creating a gently nubby finish rather than a flat plain cloth. Its warm taupe colouring sits between beige and brown, giving the swatch a grounded, quietly earthy character. As the fabric bends, the changing light picks out slightly lighter ridges and deeper taupe troughs. The substantial-looking weave and fluid drape make it a versatile choice for either upholstery or window treatments.

How to use it

Pair Marni Malt with warm timber, chalky neutrals and softly aged metals for a calm, layered scheme. Its malt-taupe tone also works well as a grounding upholstery or curtain shade alongside cream and natural linen.
