Marni Ermine

Marni Fabric

Marni Ermine has a warm mushroom-taupe tone that shifts gently between brown and muted grey as the folds catch the light. Its softly gathered presentation highlights a substantial, closely woven surface rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The fabric is built from a dense, small-scale weave with fine flecks of lighter and darker taupe visible across the surface. Deep folds create shaded brown channels, while raised areas reveal the textured grain and give the colour a quietly dimensional finish. The substantial-looking cloth reads particularly well for upholstery, where its restrained tone can add warmth without dominating the room.

How to use it

Use Marni Ermine on a generous armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard alongside ivory, stone and darker walnut tones. Its warm taupe-brown depth also works well with brushed metal, aged timber and softly layered neutral textiles.

A warm mushroom-taupe woven texture with enough visual depth to bring softness and interest to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
