About this fabric

This Elliott colourway is built around a subdued taupe-brown tone, crossed by loose vertical and horizontal marks that form a softened, uneven grid. Lighter grey-beige threads break through the ground, giving the woven surface a gently distressed appearance rather than a crisp geometric check. Catalogued as a fabric with no performance features noted, it is the visible mid-weight weave and balanced texture that make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The Truffle shade brings warmth and depth while remaining quiet enough to sit comfortably with natural timber, stone and other muted neutrals.

How to use it

Use Truffle on a relaxed sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain where its warm mushroom tone can soften darker wood and complement cream, oatmeal and aged metal accents.

Use this warm taupe textile to add softly weathered texture to upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
